Elyria Catholic High School President Annie Heidersbach Announces $10.8 Million Boldly EC Campaign
For nearly eighty years, Elyria Catholic High School has been strengthened by the people who believe in us—alumni, parents, parish partners, faculty, staff, and friends who see this school not simply as a place of learning, but as a family rooted in faith and purpose. Every day, I am reminded that the heart of Elyria Catholic is our community and our shared commitment to helping young adults learn, worship, and serve, guided by Catholic tradition.
It is with great excitement and deep gratitude that I share an important milestone in our school’s history: the launch of Boldly EC, a $10.8 million comprehensive campaign to strengthen our mission, expand our campus, and secure the future of Catholic education in Lorain County.

"I am so excited to see the vision our President, Annie Heidersbach, and Leadership team has come up with to elevate Elyria Catholic to the top of the educational pyramid in the county and possibly the diocese. We all need to help in any way possible to attract the best students by providing the best Catholic education to our current and upcoming students and future leaders of our community."
James E. Terrell '67, Honorary Campaign Chair
"The Boldly EC campaign is directly linked to Elyria Catholic's mission to empower students to use their God-given gifts for learning, worship, and service. By funding enhancements to academic and extracurricular facilities, the campaign supports the school's strategic plan to create exceptional learning environments for 21st-century education. This critical investment ensures that current and future students can thrive, develop their unique potential, and become caring, responsible citizens guided by Catholic tradition. In essence, the campaign provides the necessary resources to actualize the school's vision, creating a nurturing and state-of-the-art environment for student growth.”

"As the only Catholic, co-ed high school in Lorain County, EC gives families the gift of choice—and students a place where they can truly belong. I believe every young person deserves that kind of environment, where they’re known, supported, and inspired to use their God-given gifts. That’s why this campaign means so much—it’s about ensuring that spirit continues for generations to come.” Lana Durban Scott '90, Campaign Co-Chair
