Through Prayer
We pray together as a school community every morning during the announcements, as well as at the beginning of classes.
Through the Eucharist
Recognizing that the Eucharist is the source from which all that we do comes, we gather as a school family for Eucharistic Liturgy approximately once a month.
Through Retreats
Spiritual growth and commitment often takes root through less formal, more focused religious experiences. Each student and class is offered a number of retreat opportunities throughout the school year. Every student attends a day-long class retreat in partial fulfillment of their Theology credit. The school publicizes a number of parish and Catholic organizational retreat opportunities as well.
Through Reconciliation
The highlight of the Lenten season is the annual All School Reconciliation Service. Students prepare the day before in Theology Class. The following day, between 15 to 20 area priests come to the EC Coliseum and 400+ students, faculty and staff receive this great Sacrament.
Through Various Special Events
Religious knowledge is of little benefit without application in our lives. Each month, students have opportunities to put their faith into practice through a variety of special events or initiatives. Many are annual and others are spontaneous as the opportunities become apparent. They include:
Prayer At The Pole - Annual event in September where we gather around the flagpole, in the morning, to pray for our classmates, our community, and the upcoming school year.
May Crowning - Prayer services honoring our Blessed Mother, Mary, during religion classes.
Music Ministry
Music Ministry is open to any student who wishes to give back their musical/vocal gifts that God has bestowed on them. These students lead the music at all liturgies.
