Why the Concessions Stands refresh?
Given the concession funding strategy changed and current funding has been diverted to more urgent projects. The plan to demolish and rebuild the concession stands has been scheduled for later in time. A Concession stand refresh will present ECHS and the Concession stands well at athletic events. Additional funding for concessions is many years away.
This refresh will support having conference, tournament games and community sporting events.

Expense request was approved for the following:

HOME & AWAY concessions stands cleaned, organised, and refreshed interior
EC maintenance will deliver the exterior work.
Bobby Jennings, EC parent, will donate his time to complete the interior work.
Materials were presented with current market prices.

Approval for the work was approved in the May 2023 Panther Club meeting. Receipts will be tracked and reimbursement was submitted to EC Athletics office. Below is a summary of the work completed.

Additional work completed not included in the quoted effort.	BUILT two candy displays for HOME & INSIDE Concession.
	BUILT shelves for HOME & INSIDE Concessions for storages.
	STOCKED concessions with tools for cleaning, safety boxes, additional equipment for services in all three stands.
	ORGANISED all three stands for use.
	Setup tax free Panther Club accounts at Home Depot, Lowes, GFS and Sams Club.

Fun Facts:

7 microwaves were found in this refresh process;
- 5 worked well and
- 1 was an original Sears & Roebuck microwave oven.
27 community members stopped to discuss the changes and all are… excited to see the result!
